DESCRIPTION:Exploring Heritage\, Sustainability and Handmade Artistry\n27th October – 2nd NovemberThe Hideaway\, Stanwick Lakes Visitor CentreEntry included in site entry (some items available for purchase) \nDiscover the Beauty of Handcrafted Heritage\nThis October Half Term\, Stanwick Lakes is delighted to host Cræftiģ Makers a major exhibition celebrating the skill and creativity of local artisans. \nPresented by the Northants Guild of Spinners\, Weavers and Dyers as part of their 45th anniversary celebrations\, the exhibition brings together a wide variety of decorative and practical pieces\, crafted with both heritage and contemporary techniques. \nWhat You’ll See\n\nFibre arts & natural dyeing at the heart of the exhibition\nWorks created with sustainable materials including wood\, plants\, shells\, and recycled items\nA mix of wearable and practical art alongside unique one-off artisan pieces\nLive demonstrations – meet the makers as they create new works in person\n\nMany of the works will be available to buy\, and visitors will also have the chance to commission bespoke items directly from the artisans – a perfect opportunity to take home something truly unique. \nA Celebration of Craft\nWhether you’re interested in traditional skills\, contemporary design\, or simply looking for a fascinating and creative family outing this half term\, Cræftiģ Makers offers inspiration\, insight\, and the chance to see heritage crafts brought vividly to life.
