SUMMARY:Den Building with a Ranger! (October Half Term)
DESCRIPTION:Build a den at Stanwick Lakes this half term! \nA Ranger will lead your group to our den building area and introduce you to the tools and materials available\, and discuss the min main properties a shelter should have if it were to be needed in a survival situation. You’ll then be set a challenge to build your den! One of our Ranger team will be on hand to visit your shelter and hear about your chosen den-building techniques and vision. \nSessions last approx. 60 minutes and a responsible adult must be present throughout. Meet at the Ranger Cabin 5 mins before and your chosen\, ticketed start time. \nDen building is most suitable for children aged 3+\, however\, because a parent or guardian must be present at all times\, we accept parent/guardian discretion. Activities may be altered or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or other factors at the ranger’s discretion.

DESCRIPTION:Make Your Own Willow Lantern for Halloween! \nGet ready for some spooky family fun! Use willow stems freshly gathered by our Ranger Team during their conservation work and harvested especially for your workshop. \nWith friendly guidance\, you’ll build a lantern frame\, add twinkling lights\, and cover it with a ghostly white tissue paper canvas. Then it’s time for the best bit… decorating! Use bright colours\, creepy shapes\, and spooky designs to make your lantern come alive. \nPerfect for families: bring along your little ones for a magical hands-on activity. No experience is needed\, though lantern-making can be a little fiddly for younger children\, so we kindly request one adult per two children under 10 is to join in on the crafting fun. \nTickets are £9 per lantern. \nBooking required\, so reserve your lantern today! \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Please be aware that we do not offer refunds on half term events\, so ensure your plans align accordingly before securing your spot.
