SUMMARY:Glass Fusion - Abstract Trees & Snowflakes
DESCRIPTION:Come and create your own unique tree ornaments with artist Sally McRae this Christmas. In this workshop Sally will teach you how to cut glass\, using a wide range of colours in both transparent and opaque finishes\, you will create your very own abstract tree or snowflake decorations. Whilst everyone works at their own speed you can typically expect to make 2 to 3 pieces. Once completed\, your creations will be taken to Sally’s studio where they will be fired twice in her kiln. They will be ready to collect from Stanwick Lakes within 7 days\, ready to adorn your tree this Christmas. DESCRIPTION:Join local bird watcher Bob Webster for a morning stroll around the nature reserve at Stanwick Lakes to spot the birds that spend winter in the Nene Valley. On the walk Bob will guide you through both wetland and woodland habitats\, giving you tips to help you identify the birds that you find.\nBinoculars and bird guides will be available to use on the walk. \nSuitable for children 7.\nNormal parking charges apply.
