Ancient Adventures – Trail & Crafts

Travel back in time this half term to help Boudicca the Warrior Queen on her quest to gather supplies on her way to find the Stanwick Lakes Iron Age Settlement!
The journey starts in the Heritage Museum, following the trail around Celtic Lake to match each stop to a sticker along the way!
You an even make and decorate your very own Iron Age shield…!
The trail and shield craft activity will be available all week, with the leaflet and craft purchasable from the Visitor Centre reception desk.
This week of Ancient Adventures culminates with the Iron Age Settlement Open Day on June 1st – a “living history” celebration experience – with blacksmithing and woodworking demos, weaving and crafting activities, magical storytelling and a chance to try ancient foods – all National Lottery Funded heritage projects, and so FREE to attend, thanks to National Lottery players
