Winter Hours: From 26/10/24 the carpark is locked at 5.30pm.
The Visitor Centre closes at 5pm. Café is open until 3pm, or 4pm during weekends and the school holidays.
Please note, the waterplay feature is closed Monday mornings for routine cleaning and maintenance.

Axe Throwing at Stanwick Lakes – Sunday 14th July

Attend our fundraising Family Fun Day on the 14th July and learn the skills needed to throw axes in safe and fun way!
As well as face painting, stalls, children’s crafting and live music, why not see how many axes can you throw an axe in an hour…? Can you imagine how satisfying each “THUD” will be and each time you hit your target?
Our axe-throwing sessions put a unique twist on a visit to Stanwick Lakes, as you receive tips and coaching from a qualified instructor, in an outdoor setting. So let off some steam this summer!
Whether throwing an axe has never crossed your mind, or you’re an axe throwing champion, these sessions are suitable for all and will create great memories.
Each axe throwing session is £10 per person. For age 11 years old upwards.
The Family Fun Day is free entry, but the day aims to raise funds for our accessible play equipment campaign. Donations welcome.
Participants must wear closed-toe shoes. This event is run by Wilderness Ways and participants must agree to the Wilderness Ways Axe Throwing Emergency Details & Consent disclaimer.
