DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday 20th June 2026 for a full day and evening celebration of the Summer Solstice at Stanwick Lakes\, running from midday through to midnight. Across the day you can explore living history\, hands-on heritage activities and creative workshops\, before moving into evening experiences that continue the celebration into the night. From Roman and Viking camps to craft activities\, sunset workshops and a night swim under the stars\, the event brings together the longest day of the year in one place. \n\nDaytime Festival (12pm–8pm) – Free EntryLiving history and heritage activities across the site\, including Roman and Viking camps\, ancient traditions with Northampton Pagans\, heritage craft demonstrations (weaving\, dyeing and woodworking)\, and family-friendly seasonal activities inspired by midsummer traditions. \nCraft activities include: \n\nCorn Dollies – drop-in\nEmbossing workshop – ticketed\nChildren’s Solstice activities – drop-in\n\n\nSolstice Lates (8pm–10pm) – TicketedSmall\, relaxed evening workshops with a welcome drink and your choice of creative session: \n\nCorn dollies: Mordiford Heart\nLino fabric printing with Lizzie Ault\nPaint & Sip watercolours with Louise Berril\n\n\nSolstice Night Swim (10:30pm–midnight) – TicketedA guided after-dark swim experience on the lake with a calm\, atmospheric setting beneath the midsummer sky and added safety support.

DESCRIPTION:Afternoon Tea with the ArtsBarn G&S Choir – Singing Songs from the Shows \nA lovely way to spend a summer afternoon – enjoy afternoon tea in our lakeside café while The ArtsBarn G&S Choir perform an hour of live musical theatre\, including much-loved Gilbert & Sullivan numbers. Whether you’re a long-time G&S fan or just fancy something a little different\, it’s a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon for music lovers\, families\, and groups of friends. \nYour afternoon tea includes finger sandwiches (cheddar cheese\, ham\, and egg mayo)\, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam\, a savoury selection\, and a mix of mini cakes and sweet treats. \nTwo sittings: 1:00pm–2:30pm or 3:00pm–4:30pm \nTickets from £24.95 (Adult)\, £31.95 (Sparkling)\, £15.95 (Children – must be booked alongside an adult ticket).
