DESCRIPTION:Solstice Night Swim\nJoin us for a magical night time swim to celebrate Summer Solstice at Stanwick Lakes! \nBring your head torch and fairy lights for a Stanwick Swim like no other! With extra lifeguards on land\, on-water safety support\, and a gently lit swim route\, you can be sure that your safety is our top priority as you relax under the stars! \nYour swim ticket includes: \n\nUnprecedented night-time access to our beautiful Solstice Lake\nA comprehensive safety briefing and support from our Swim Director\nA full hour swim\nFull safety support from our qualified lifeguards\, land-based safety team AND on-water safety team!\nA military grade glow stick to wear so that you are visible to the safety team in the water\nA hot drink to warm up after your swim!\nA campfire snack to enjoy!\nParking for the evening\n\nYou must bring a Tow float (we do have floats available to hire)\, swimwear and warm clothing for after the event. If you are able to bring extra lighting please do\, we love to sparkle! \nPlease let our Swim Director know if you have not swam in open water before. \nPlease note we have a strict alcohol consumption policy\, details can be found on the booking ticket.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday 20th June 2026 for a full day and evening celebration of the Summer Solstice at Stanwick Lakes\, running from midday through to midnight. Across the day you can explore living history\, hands-on heritage activities and creative workshops\, before moving into evening experiences that continue the celebration into the night. From Roman and Viking camps to craft activities\, sunset workshops and a night swim under the stars\, the event brings together the longest day of the year in one place. \n\n\nDaytime Festival (12pm–8pm) – Free EntryLiving history and heritage activities across the site\, including Roman and Viking camps\, ancient traditions with Northampton Pagans\, heritage craft demonstrations (weaving\, dyeing and woodworking)\, and family-friendly seasonal activities inspired by midsummer traditions. \nCraft activities include: \n\nCorn Dollies – drop-in\nEmbossing workshop – ticketed\nChildren’s Solstice activities – drop-in\n\n\n\nSolstice Lates (8pm–10pm) – TicketedSmall\, relaxed evening workshops with a welcome drink and your choice of creative session: \n\nCorn dollies: Mordiford Heart\nLino fabric printing with Lizzie Ault\nPaint & Sip watercolours with Louise Berril\n\n\n\nSolstice Night Swim (10:30pm–midnight) – TicketedA guided after-dark swim experience on the lake with a calm\, atmospheric setting beneath the midsummer sky and added safety support.
