Join us on Sunday, 5th May, for a guided walk around Stanwick Lakes to celebrate International Dawn Chorus Day.
The walk is guided by volunteer ornithologists from the RSPB Mid Nene Local Group.
This one is for early birds! Please arrive in good time, so our guide can start the walk promptly at 6am.
Enjoy the nature reserve at dawn, listen out for song birds and – because we’ll all be feeling a little peckish as the walk comes to an end around breakfast time – enjoy a breakfast bap in the visitor centre afterwards!
Did you know that birds sing, first thing, when the air is still, and they know this is when sound travels most effectively? It’s most noticeable in Spring and builds to a crescendo in May, so this event offers the perfect setting to celebrate the occasion.
Tickets are £10 per person (and include a breakfast bap, hot drink & parking).
Booking essential.
