SUMMARY:Copper Foiling Stained Glass Christmas Decorations Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Course Overview\nWarm up this winter with tea\, biscuits\, and creativity in the heart of Stanwick Lakes! \nJoin us for a hands-on\, full day workshop where you’ll craft your very own genuine stained glass decorations\, perfect for hanging on your tree or sparkling in your window this Christmas. Using the Tiffany copper foil technique\, you’ll learn how to cut glass\, apply copper foil\, solder your design\, and finish it beautifully. By the end\, you’ll have a set of handmade treasures to take home\, and plenty of festive cheer. \nPlease note that solder contains lead. Therefore\, this course is not recommended for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Please wear covered shoes. No previous experience is necessary. \nWhat’s included in the price: Tools\, materials and safety equipment are provided. Participants are simply asked to bring a packed lunch and their own supply of enthusiasm! (We provide tea and coffee during the courses). \nThere are 2 one day workshops available to book – Saturday 12th December\, 9:30am – 4pm or Sunday 13th December\, 9:30am – 4pm. \nParking is included in the ticket price. \nBook now \nCancellation policy: Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts.

SUMMARY:Lantern Walk & Lakeside Carols - 2026 Dates
DESCRIPTION:Join us this December for a magical walk around Solstice Lake and carols in our outdoor theatre. Festive food and refreshments will be available to purchase and entertainment will be provided. \nThis year – due to the popularity of this event – there are three dates to choose from. This follows our third additional evening selling out year on year\, so we expect spaces will go fast.\nBook now to avoid disappointment! \nPlease wrap up warm and bring a torch or lantern to walk with (perhaps you made one at our Lantern workshops in October half term). \nDogs are allowed to this event. Due to our environmental status dogs must be on leads at all times at Stanwick Lakes. For this event\, we recommend and kindly request dogs are on short leads for safety. \n5pm – 8pm.\nThe car park will be free to ticket holders on the evening of this event. \nPlease note that Stanwick Lakes is a charity. We’re unable to offer refunds once a booking has been made. However\, we may be able to transfer your booking to an alternative date.\nIf you’d like to discuss this\, please get in touch. \n
