SUMMARY:Open Water Swimming
DESCRIPTION:For 2026\, we are pleased to offer weekly open water swimming sessions\, taking place every Friday evening throughout the summer season\, from Friday 15th May to Friday 28th August. This is our most regular programme to date\, giving swimmers the opportunity to build a consistent routine and enjoy the benefits of swimming in a unique natural setting. \nAll sessions are fully lifeguarded and supported by an experienced on-water safety team\, ensuring a safe and structured environment for open water swimming. \nAs a nature reserve and designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI)\, Stanwick Lakes is subject to strict protections. DESCRIPTION:Join our rangers for a pond dipping session this summer! \nUsing nets\, trays and magnifying glasses and guided by one of our rangers\, come and discover the creatures that live in the ponds at Stanwick Lakes! After a safety briefing and an introduction to the creatures we’re likely to find\, we’ll head to the pond dipping platform where you will be given a pond dipping kit! The Ranger will be on hand with identification keys to help you work out which creatures you have caught as well as to share knowledge about the pond ecosystem and the many species that call it home. \nSessions last approx. 30 minutes and a responsible adult must be present throughout. \nMeet at the Ranger Cabin 5 mins before your chosen ticketed start time. \nPlease bring appropriate footwear and clothing (including sun hats) and sun cream – it can be hot on the dipping platforms! \nBelow you are booking pond dipping for Tuesday sessions throughout August. \nPlease check the date carefully before you book as refunds cannot be given.

DESCRIPTION:Course Overview\nJoin us for one of our summer workshops and create your very own design on a tote bag. You will use ready cut stamps and lino blocks to print and create your own design. Supported by artist and printmaker Lizzie Ault\, who will be providing her own hand cut blocks for you to use. \nAll materials are included in this workshop. Suitable for ages 7+ (younger children are welcome to have a go with supervision). \nParking is included in the ticket price. \nEach workshop activity has suggested age ranges provided\, however\, we accept parent/guardian discretion.\nAll children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. \nCancellation Policy  \nCancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Cancellations made within 4 weeks of the session are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances\, please speak to our team so we can discuss how we may be able to accommodate you. \nUnder the Consumer Contracts Regulations\, bookings made online may be eligible for a 14-day cooling-off period.
