DESCRIPTION:Course Overview\nJoin us with our Resident Artist Louise Berrill for an inspiring watercolour painting class where creativity flows as freely as the paint on your brush! \nEach 2.5 hour session will focus on a different subject and area of emphasis\, ensuring that every class brings something new and exciting to explore. We’ll cover a wide range of practical skills\, from the essential steps of surface preparation to the application of paint\, as well as how to effectively use various tools and mediums. \nThroughout these sessions\, you’ll learn techniques to create washes\, build layers\, add texture\, and refine fine details. Each month\, we’ll draw inspiration from different subjects\, helping you develop a broader range of skills and ideas in your watercolour painting practice. \nParking is included in the ticket price. \nCancellation Policy  \nCancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Cancellations made within 4 weeks of the session are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances\, please speak to our team so we can discuss how we may be able to accommodate you. \nUnder the Consumer Contracts Regulations\, bookings made online may be eligible for a 14-day cooling-off period. SUMMARY:Lantern Walk & Lakeside Carols - 2026 Dates
DESCRIPTION:Join us this December for a magical walk around Solstice Lake and carols in our outdoor theatre. Festive food and refreshments will be available to purchase and entertainment will be provided. \nThis year – due to the popularity of this event – there are three dates to choose from. This follows our third additional evening selling out year on year\, so we expect spaces will go fast.\nBook now to avoid disappointment! \nPlease wrap up warm and bring a torch or lantern to walk with (perhaps you made one at our Lantern workshops in October half term). \nDogs are allowed to this event. Due to our environmental status dogs must be on leads at all times at Stanwick Lakes. For this event\, we recommend and kindly request dogs are on short leads for safety. \n5pm – 8pm.\nThe car park will be free to ticket holders on the evening of this event. \nPlease note that Stanwick Lakes is a charity. We’re unable to offer refunds once a booking has been made. However\, we may be able to transfer your booking to an alternative date.\nIf you’d like to discuss this\, please get in touch. \n
