Home Education
Nestled in the heart of the Nene Valley Stanwick Lakes offers a wide-ranging learning programme that aims to educate, involve, and inspire young people in both nature, heritage, and adventure. To us this means encouraging young people to develop the knowledge and skills that they need to find meaning in our natural and cultural landscapes, encouraging a sense of belonging for all, and most importantly encouraging a lasting love of learning. We are therefore delighted to welcome home educators on our home education days, which are designed to support both curriculum learning outside the classroom and holistic development.
Home Education Day
Our next Home Education Day will be on Tuesday 3rd March 2026. Everyone is welcome but is best suited to learners aged 5–11 or those accessing the Key Stages 1 & 2 curriculum. There will be three timed sessions including Feathered Friends, Mosaic Makers: Life in Roman Britain and Forest Crafts, as well as more informal, drop-in learning activities.
