Teas, Talks & WALKS
Taking place on Thursdays, our Teas,Talks & WALKS sessions combine informative topics with outdoor explorations.
All talks start at 10.30am and are 1 hour – 90 mins, with hot drink voucher included.
Join us at Stanwick Lakes to enjoy a natter, a brew and a walk!
Whether you’re interested in local wildlife, keen to learn more about particular species or habitats, or curious about the conservation work happening here at Stanwick Lakes, there’s a new theme each month to tempt you in for a talk,
then out for a walk.
Tickets prices range from £8–£14 and all include parking.
All ticket types include free parking for the duration of the event.
You can choose from:
£8.00 – ‘A Tea, Talk & Walk’ includes a voucher for a hot drink at our café.
£14.00 – ‘Simply add soup’ (includes a hot drink voucher).
Group discounts are available for groups over 10, with limited spaces available. Please enquire.

Join the Ranger team to hear about the vital conservation work carried out during the colder months. They’ll share updates on recent projects, seasonal wildlife highlights, and what’s planned for the months ahead.

Seed Gathering Walk
An overview
Enjoy a guided autumn walk around the quieter areas of the nature reserve at Stanwick Lakes. While we are walking, we will gather seeds as part of the Tree Councils Seed Gathering Season, and sharing tips on gowing native trees from seed.

Harvest Mouse Survey
An overview
Join us for a guided survey walk and help uncover the hidden world of the harvest mouse, the UK’s smallest rodent. As part of this national citizen science project, you’ll learn how to spot their tiny, woven nests and contribute valuable data to monitor their populations.
