How do I get more involved at Stanwick Lakes?

There are many ways in which you can become more involved by volunteering at Stanwick Lakes, whether it is outside doing conservation work, volunteering for a specific project or manning the reception desk. As a charity, Rockingham Forest Trust, who manage Stanwick Lakes, is incredibly grateful for the time and dedication that volunteers give to Stanwick Lakes to help make it the great place it is!

To log the volunteer hours we contribute to each project, we use a portal designed for charities, called ‘Better Impact’. As a volunteer, it will log your application and can keep you up to date on all opportunities that are currently available, all whilst keeping information secure. This new approach will assist Rockingham Forest Trust, the charity that looks after Stanwick Lakes, when reporting charitable efforts, creating project reports, and assigning hours to volunteers who have expressed interest in specific roles.

If you have any questions that are not answered on our Better Impact volunteer page, you can email info@rftrust.org.uk
