Home Education Day Key Stage 1 & 2
Our next Home Education Day will be on Thursday 3rd September 2026. Everyone is welcome but is best suited to learners aged 5–11 or those accessing the Key Stages 1 & 2 curriculum.
Nature: Wildflower Meadows
As part of a new project, help us to improve our wildflower meadows by becoming part of our Ranger team.
Blacksmithing Demonstration: Iron Age Britain
Learn about the amazing changes in Iron Age Britain and watch an exciting blacksmithing demonstration to see how metal was shaped.
Campfire Cooking
Discover the fun of cooking outdoors by making flatbreads and toasting marshmallows to create delicious s’mores. Vegan options are available, but please let us know about any dietary requirements when booking.
Please note that this activity involves ingredients containing gluten and dairy. Food will be prepared outdoors, and while every effort will be made to minimise cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that products will be free from traces of gluten or dairy. Therefore, this activity may not be suitable for individuals with severe allergies to these ingredients.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Siblings are welcome, children wishing to participate must purchase a ticket. Parking free of charge if registration is provided at time of booking.

Special Conditions
Please note the following conditions apply to this event:
- Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear suitable for all weather conditions.
- The event may be cancelled or amended at short notice in the case of extreme or unsafe weather conditions (such as storms or other conditions that may present a safety risk).
- No dogs are permitted at the event.
Cancellation Policy
Once we receive your booking form, your booking is confirmed. If you have to cancel, we will do our utmost to find another booking for you. However, we are a small charity and if no booking is made, a cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund at the appropriate rate.
- More than 30 days before the event: no charge
- 10 to 30 days before the event: 50% of the fee will be charged
- Less than 10 days before the event: 100% of the fee will be charged
