Try something different at this year’s Family Fun Day and learn the skills needed to throw axes in a safe and fun way!
Whether throwing an axe has never crossed your mind, or you’re already an axe-throwing champion, these sessions are suitable for all.
Can you imagine how satisfying each THUD will be when you hit your target?
Our axe throwing sessions put a unique twist on your visit to Stanwick Lakes, as you receive tips and coaching from a qualified instructor in an outdoor setting – perfect for letting off some steam and creating great memories.
Each pre-booked axe throwing session is £10 per person, and gets you a dedicated session and the opportunity to learn how to throw different styles of axe!
For age 11 years old and upwards (adult supervision required for under 16s). Sessions are 45 minutes long.
Axe Throwing is a very short walk from our Visitor Centre, but if you book a ticket, please sign in at the welcome desk in the VC first.
Participants must wear closed-toe shoes.
This event is run by Wilderness Ways and participants must agree to the Wilderness Ways Axe Throwing Emergency Details & Consent disclaimer (which will be available to you during the ticket buying process).
