Home Education
Nestled in the heart of the Nene Valley Stanwick Lakes offers a wide-ranging learning programme that aims to educate, involve, and inspire young people in both nature, heritage, and adventure! To us this means encouraging young people to develop the knowledge and skills that they need to find meaning in our natural and cultural landscapes, encouraging a sense of belonging for all, and most importantly encouraging a lasting love of learning. We are therefore delighted to welcome home educators on our home education days, which are designed to support both curriculum learning outside the classroom and holistic development.
Home Education Day
Our next Home Education Days will be released very soon. Everyone is welcome but the first will be best suited to learners aged 5–11 or those accessing the Key Stages 1 & 2 curriculum and the second will be best suited to learners aged 11-14 or those accessing the Key Stage 3 Curriculum. There will be three timed sessions for each, as well as more informal, drop-in learning activities. We can’t wait to tell you more.
