Family Fun Day

Join us for a delightful day of family fun, community spirit and charity fundraising at Stanwick Lakes! This event promises a fantastic range of activities and entertainment for all ages – and all for a good cause! Enjoy live entertainment, activities for all the family and explore the beauty of Stanwick Lakes nature and heritage with a showcase of its offerings. Our Summer Craft Fair will also take place, with local artisans lining the paths to show off their talents and wares.

What’s On:

from 9.15am – 4pm:
Axe throwing sessions (book in advance to avoid disappointment here: Axe Throwing at Stanwick Lakes – Sunday 14th July

from 10am:
face painting • bouncy castles • craft stalls • Viking re-enactments nature engagement zone – children’s crafts • The Beat Bus & Northamptonshire Fire Crew
Learn at the Lakes taster sessions: silk batik painting & glass fusion sculpture

from 11am in the outdoor theatre:
live music • ice-cream & hot-dogs

from 1pm – 3pm in the outdoor theatre:
Ranger Rita’s Animal Adventure (shows at 1pm & 2.30pm)

While the event is free to attend, we’ll have some exciting paid activities to help us reach our fundraising goal and continue our conservation efforts.

Parking charges apply and this income, as always, also goes directly to Rockingham Forest Trust.

It’s a perfect opportunity to support a great cause and learn about Stanwick Lakes as a charity, while creating lasting memories with your loved ones.
