Santa Run
This event is ideal for the recreational runner perhaps entering our running events for the first time, the competitive runner looking to start their training early for next year or simply if you’re looking to get into the Christmas spirit with a fun and slightly silly event (dependent on your get up!)
For those who have not run here before – it is the ideal running course… with gentle trail tracks and the additional feature of being on a nature reserve with stunning views. There are three separate distances to choose from – 5K, 10K and Half Marathon.

This year, we’re excited to offer a range of traditional and contemporary Christmas-themed workshops. Whether you’re looking to create something festive, learn a new skill, or simply enjoy the holiday spirit, our workshops provide the perfect opportunity to explore and celebrate the season.
Festive Lates: Workshops & Late Night Opening
Friday 27th November & Friday 11th December
As part of our festive season, we run a selection of our popular workshops as festive taster sessions, with a hint of the season in the warm glow of the café and gift shop remaining open on a winter’s evening.
From blacksmithing to wood carving, this unique evening offers a bitesize version of our traditional and contemporary workshop programme. It’s a chance to create something festive with your own hands, perhaps as a gift or as an experience to shar with a friend.
In the cafe, enjoy cakes, hot drinks & mulled drinks while soaking up the lakeside atmosphere, even if you’re not part of a workshop.
5pm – 8pm.
The car park will be free to workshop attendees on the evening of this event.
