Mixed Media Art Course

Course Overview

In this session, you will combine layered water-based media with drawing tools to create unique and detailed mixed media paintings. You’ll explore various techniques to layer different materials like watercolors, inks, and acrylics, adding depth and texture to your work guided by our Resident Artist Louise Berrill. Alongside these, we’ll incorporate drawing tools such as pencils and pens to refine and enhance your composition, bringing out intricate details. Throughout the session, you’ll learn how to balance and integrate these different elements, resulting in a richly layered piece that reflects your individual style. By the end, you’ll have completed a mixed media painting that showcases the skills and creativity developed during the class.

Parking is included in the ticket price.

Cancellation Policy 

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Cancellations made within 4 weeks of the session are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, please speak to our team so we can discuss how we may be able to accommodate you.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, bookings made online may be eligible for a 14-day cooling-off period. However, if the session is scheduled to take place within this period, this right no longer applies.

If the booking is made directly with Stanwick Lakes, we ask that all cancellation requests must be made via email to: info@rftrust.org.uk and should include your full name, booking reference (if available), session date or title, and reason for cancellation.
