Budding Botanists
Explore the plants growing in our wetland environment and work scientifically to learn about their structure in order to compare and contrast what different plants need for life and growth. Perfect for those learning about ‘Plants’ at Key Stage Two.

Rivers & Nene Valley
Use simple fieldwork and observation skills to study the physical geography of the Nene Valley, including the features of the river Nene along its middle course. Perfect for exploring ‘Geography’ at Key Stage Two.

Citizen Science
Identify and classify a variety of animals in our woodland or wetland habitats and practice working scientifically by helping us to both monitor and record our wildlife. Perfect for those learning about ‘Living things and their habitats’ at Key Stage Two.

Pond Dipping
Learn how to classify living things into broad groups according to observable characteristics and explore how seasonal changes can impact our pond’s microhabitats. Perfect for those learning about ‘Living things and their habitats’ at Key Stage Two.
