Stanwick ‘Lates’ Evening Workshops

Join us for a cosy Autumnal evening this October as the Visitor Centre opens late for an evenings of creativity, and the chance to try your hand at something new, with workshops ranging from an autumn themed Sip & Paint, Family Friendly Resin Jewellery Making for age 10+ and even a Blacksmithing taster session in our Traditional Barn. Each workshop is beginner-friendly, set in small groups, and designed to help you unwind, get creative, and make something special for the season.

Friday 23rd October, 6 – 8pm

Sip & Paint
Unwind and get creative at our Autumnal Sip & Paint workshop with resident artist Louise Berrill. Learn the art of painting as your artistic juices flow to produce an Autumn themed artwork to frame and hang at home as part of your Autumnal decorations or give as a gift.

Blacksmithing Taster
In this taster session you will learn the basics of blacksmithing, a trade that has been at the heart of countryside life for hundreds of years. The skills you will learn include taking a heat, drawing out, scrolling, and twisting to produce a unique piece to take home.

Resin Jewellery Making
Fun and family friendly jewellery-making workshop to create your own handmade jewellery piece using natural stones, dried flowers and resin. A wonderful activity for adults and children aged 10+ to enjoy together this Autumn.
Recommended for ages 16 and over unless stated otherwise.
Parking is included in the cost of the ticket.
Wearing old clothes is recommended. Blacksmithing: Hard soled boots, are recommended due to the possibility of hot coals falling out of the fire.
Cancellation Policy: We’re unable to offer refunds for cancellations as standard. If you need to cancel, please contact the workshop team at workshops@rftrust.org.uk. If we are able to fill your place, we may be able to issue a refund at our discretion.
Please note: cancellations cannot be accepted within 24 hours of the workshop, and NO REFUNDS will be issued during this period.
