Rockingham Forest Trust working in partnership with PaMusoro Ltd is proud to announce the installation of an electric vehicle (EV) charging station (Type 2), taking a significant step towards promoting sustainable transportation within its premises. The new charging station provides an essential infrastructure to support visitors’ transition to electric vehicles, reducing carbon emissions and fostering a greener future.
In a statement released by PaMusoro Ltd – “We are excited to offer this new service to the members and visitors at Stanwick Lakes. We believe that EVs are a key part of the future of transportation, and we are committed to making it easy for our community to adopt them”
Equipped with the latest charging technology, the EV charging station offers level 2 charging, which can provide up to 25 miles of range in about 30 minutes. With multiple charging ports available, visitors can simultaneously charge their vehicles, minimizing wait times and maximizing convenience. It is available to all EV drivers, regardless of whether they are members of Stanwick Lakes.
The station is located at the entrance of Stanwick Lakes, and it offers a convenient and eco-friendly solution for electric vehicle owners. Visitors can now explore the stunning natural beauty of the reserve while also ensuring their vehicles remain powered up and ready for their journeys. This initiative aligns with Stanwick Lakes’ commitment to environmental stewardship and the preservation of the natural habitat for generations to come.
