All About Badgers (Nene Valley Mammal Youth Group)

Hosted by the Northamptonshire Badger Group and suitable for young adults age 18-30.

Join the Northamptonshire Badger group to discover all about badgers, including how to spot the signs that they live on a site, their setts and how to survey for them. The event will start in the visitor centre with a talk on badger ecology, followed by walk looking for signs of tracks, trails and setts. This walk is a Nene Valley Mammal Youth Group event which has been set up to inspire young people to learn about mammals and take action to protect them. This badger walk is for young adults aged between 18-30 only.

This badger walk is a Nene Valley Mammal Youth Group event. The group has been formed to inspire young people (Aged 0-30) to learn about mammals and take action to protect them. Young people will be able spend time outdoors, meet like-minded people, and develop their skills to become citizen scientists and active conservationists. The group has been set up in response to, and with, local young people who have a passion for nature and is part of the local network of the Mammal Society, Britain’s leading charity devoted to the science-led conservation of mammals.
