Winter Hours are now in effect. The car park is locked at 5.30pm, the Visitor Centre closes at 5pm, and the café is open until 3pm (4pm on weekends and school holidays).
Please note the water play area is closed on Monday mornings for routine cleaning and maintenance.

Den Building with a Ranger!
Build a den at Stanwick Lakes this Easter holiday!
A Ranger will lead your group to our den building area and introduce you to the tools and materials available, and discuss the min main properties a shelter should have if it were to be needed in a survival situation. You’ll then be set a challenge to build your den! One of our Ranger team will be on hand to visit your shelter and hear about your chosen den-building techniques and vision.
Sessions last approx. 60 minutes and a responsible adult must be present throughout. Meet at the Ranger Cabin 5 mins before and your chosen, ticketed start time.
Den building is most suitable for children aged 3+, however, because a parent or guardian must be present at all times, we accept parent/guardian discretion.
Please check our website on the day of your session for information regarding flooding – wellies may be advisable!
Please also ensure you check your chosen date/time carefully as refunds will not be given.
