Our café is open until 4pm (last hot food orders) during weekends and the school holidays.

For a week every September (6th-15th), Heritage Open Days brings people together, including thousands of volunteers and organisations, to celebrate heritage with England’s largest community-led festival of history and culture.
We’re celebrating at Stanwick Lakes on Sunday, 8th September! Join us from 10am to 4pm for our Heritage Open Day, where you can step back in time and explore 10,000 years of history.
• “Sensational Settlers” – a time-travelling performance by Laugh Out Loud Theatre, written and created especially for Stanwick Lakes.
– Performances at 10:30am, 11:30am, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm.
• Iron Age Settlement – experience how people lived in centuries past.
• Blacksmithing Demonstrations – watch ancient skills brought to life.
• Bifrost Guard Viking Reenactment – delve into the world of Viking warriors.
• Heritage Trail – take a guided walk through the rich history of the area.
