Visitor Centre and Café closures

March is a busy month at Stanwick Lakes, and while there is plenty happening across the site, we want to share a clear update about two temporary closures at the Visitor Centre and main café.

Visitor Centre and Café – Closed on:

  • Thursday the 5th March

  • Friday the 20th March

On these two dates, the Visitor Centre and café will be closed due to private functions.

The Walkers’ Rest Will Be Open

If you are planning a visit on either of these dates, The Walkers’ Rest will be open and serving hot drinks and snacks.

All outdoor areas across the site will also remain open as usual, so you can still enjoy a walk, fresh air and time outdoors.

What This Means for Your Visit

If you were intending to use the indoor café space or Visitor Centre facilities, please take note of these closure dates before travelling.

However, you will still have access to:

  • All walking routes

  • Play areas

  • Car parks

  • The Walkers’ Rest for refreshments

If you are attending a booked event, please check your confirmation details for any specific instructions.
