Nest Box Sponsorship – Coming Soon!

Your sponsorship of a nest box supports the Rockingham Forest Trust’s conservation efforts at Stanwick Lakes, specifically projects that benefit the birds on the nature reserve. When the nesting starts in February or March 2024, you’ll be able to access our Nest Box page for updates on nesting progress. You’ll learn about birds nesting, when eggs are laid, and be able to follow along with a fledgling count! BTO volunteers monitor the boxes, contributing to both local bird health and national recording schemes. Special thanks to the Wrisdale family for making the Stanwick Lakes Nest Box Scheme possible.
