You can buy tickets for some of our events through our shop. If you can’t see the event you are looking for, please check our What’s On page for a full list of events and ticket information.
At Stanwick Lakes, inside the Visitor Centre, we have a gift shop offering a selection of cards, books, decorative items for the home, ethically produced products and a selection of children’s toys. It is located in the Visitor Centre and you’re welcome to browse any time during usual opening hours.
Occasionally, we’ll make it possible to purchase a small selection of products here, too, on a collection only basis, so wont miss out on the most popular products. We do not currently offer delivery on any of our gift shop items.
The gift shop is a social enterprise, which reinvests back into the charity, helping to raise funds to support the upkeep of the site and the conservation work around the nature reserve.

Nest Box Sponsorship

Access our Nest Box page for updates on nesting progress. You’ll learn about birds nesting, when eggs are laid, and be able to follow along with a fledgling count! BTO volunteers monitor over 40 boxes around the reserve,s, contributing to both local bird health and national recording schemes. Special thanks to the Wrisdale family for making the Stanwick Lakes Nest Box Scheme possible. -
Open Water Swimming Session
£5.50 Add to CartJoin us for open water swim sessions (with lifeguards) in a stunning nature reserve setting. Choose from 1-hour or 2-hour Friday evening swims, with nine dates across 2025. Tow floats (hire available) and bright swim hats required. Booking essential – unsupervised wild swimming is not permitted in our lakes due to our SSSI status. Join us for a one off session or block book and fill your Friday nights throughout summer!
Come along with friends – but please book sessions for each swimmer separately – add to your basket one after another – then you may purchase all at once. Thank you!
