A mystical day for the whole family, filled with Viking and Pagan festivities and enchanting entertainment. Join us from noon until sunset, finishing with a fire-lit procession around Solstice Lake and theatre finale.

This special event, now in its second year, celebrates the returning of the light.
We invite you to take part in the unique festivities of the day, suitable for all the family to enjoy. This event is a celebration of heritage and presents a distinctive atmosphere to re-imagine Yuletide as it may have been. It is a gathering of enthusiasts interested in experiencing the spirit of Yule in a festive, fun and educational environment! We’re able to offer an enlightening and authentic experience with the help of our partners and National Lottery funding.

Viking Festival Camp with The Bifrost Guard
Explore an authentic Viking festival camp and immerse yourself in the world of Norse legends, complete with costumed reenactors who will transport you back in time.
Fireside Shamanic Drumming and Captivating Storytelling
Join the Northampton Pagans around crackling fires as they share stories and ancient wisdom. The rhythmic beats of shamanic drumming will take you on a journey of festive times gone by.
Yule-Themed Craft Activities
Get creative with Yule-themed craft activities for the whole family. Decorate your very own shield or create beautiful winter nature crafts to take home as souvenirs.
Fire-Lit Sunset Procession Around Solstice Lake
As the day transitions into evening, join us in a fire-lit procession around Solstice Lake. This enchanting journey will culminate in a Yule-themed finale at the outdoor theater, full of Viking spirit and Pagan celebrations.
Feast with Us!
Satisfy your cravings with a variety of delicious food and refreshments available throughout the day, including a warming, authentic stew and mulled beverages. Savor the flavors of the season while taking in the atmosphere.
Soak up the atmosphere and give festive thanks
Enjoy a bonfire and entertainment, and if you, place an offering on our Yule log to welcome the return of the light!

Tickets
Purchase your tickets in advance to secure your spot at this one-of-a-kind event. This event sold out last year and we are expected to reach capacity, so book early to avoid disappointment. Please note that in the event that you are unable to or fail to attend, we regret that tickets will not be refunded.

Family-Friendly
Yule is a family-friendly festival, and children of all ages are welcome. There will be activities and entertainment suitable for everyone. Babes in arms do not require a full price ticket.
