Join our Monthly Pottery Classes with Louise Berrill, a skilled and experienced artist, for a hands-on experience in pottery. These 2.5-hour sessions, held every month, are designed to accommodate all skill levels—from beginners to those with more experience.
Each class offers a unique opportunity to explore various hand-building techniques, including coiling, pinch pots, and slab construction. You’ll work on creating both decorative and functional ceramic pieces while learning the basics of clay preparation, tool usage, and different decoration methods. After completing your pieces, they will be glazed and fired, ready for collection at a later date.
You’re welcome to dip in and out of these sessions as each is designed to be stand-alone, or you can choose to book them in a series for a more in-depth experience. In each class, you will join a relaxed group where new and returning potters create together in a relaxed, drop-in style session. All levels are welcome, whether you’re a complete beginner or have been doing pottery for years, simply introduce yourself to the tutor and get stuck in. There’s always something new to learn and new people to meet!
