Spend a creative day at Stanwick Lakes learning traditional willow weaving techniques. Learn core basketry skills while creating an impressive large willow flower.
HOURS: We are currently operating SUMMER opening times and our carpark is locked at 7pm.
WATERPLAY: Open everyday, except short closure on Monday mornings for cleaning.
IMPORTANT: Due to adverse temperatures this week, NO BBQs.

You’ll learn how to plan you design assemble it on a wire frame, with tips and ideas along the way to help you make a wreath that’s truly one-of-a-kind.
Using small bauble embroidery hoops you'll be guided through the beautiful and organic process of batik, a centuries-old technique that uses melted wax and vibrant inks on silk to create rich, flowing designs than you can hang in your home or give as a gift this festive season.
